This page covers everything OVRT runs: this website and the live demo on the home page, the Forge Field crew app, and the Taperbook booking app. Each section below says what that one does.

Every company we set up also gets its own copy of a policy, served by its own installation and naming that company. That copy governs that company's records. This page is about the apps themselves and the people who use them.

The demo on the home page

The demo is the real Forge Field app running inside your browser. It builds a small database on your own device and talks to it there.

  • Nothing you do in the demo is sent to us. Not the taps, not the company you pick, not anything you tap inside the phone.
  • The company, the crew, the jobs and every figure in it are invented. They are not a real business and not a real person's hours.
  • It never asks for your location, your camera, or a sign-in.
  • Close the tab and it is gone.

If you contact us

If you send an inquiry, we keep what you tell us — your name, how to reach you, and what you said about your company — so that we can reply and work out what your company would need. That is the whole purpose.

  • It is read only by OVRT Site Solutions LLC. It is not sold, rented, or shared.
  • No newsletter and no automated follow-up sequence.
  • Ask us to delete it and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.

What this site does not do

No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising network, and no third-party scripts that watch you. The site loads a webfont from Google Fonts; nothing else on the page reports to anyone.

Forge Field — the crew app

Forge Field is a work app. Your employer sets it up; you use it on the job.

What it holds. Your name, the work email you sign in with, your password (kept only as a one-way hash — it cannot be read back, by us or by your employer), any phone number your employer records for you, and the pay rate they set. The receipts and work photos you file. The notes you type into a daily log. A security log of sign-in attempts, so nobody can guess their way into your account.

Location. One pin, taken at the moment you clock in and at the moment you clock out, so your hours land on the right job. Never in between, and never in the background. An installation with the time clock switched off never asks for location at all.

Photos. Only the ones you take in the app or deliberately choose. The app cannot browse your library, and it never writes anything back to your camera roll.

Who sees it. Your employer — the company that installed it. Each person sees their own hours and their own receipts. We see it only when your employer asks us to fix something.

Taperbook — the booking app

Taperbook is for the owner of a shop. Clients never download it; they book on the shop's own website.

The owner's account. Name, email address, password (again, only as a one-way hash), phone number, and the same security log of sign-ins.

The shop's clients. A client's name, phone number, email if they give one, what they booked, when they last came in, and the notes the owner keeps about the cut. That list belongs to the shop, not to us. It is never sold, never rented, and never used to market anything to anyone.

Money. When a client books, a deposit is held on their card through the shop's own Stripe account — the money goes to the shop's bank, not ours. Card numbers never reach our servers. The card goes straight to Stripe; all we keep is the amount, the card's brand and last four digits, and Stripe's reference for the transaction, so the shop can match a booking to a payment.

Texts. If the shop turns them on, a confirmation, a reminder, and once a request for a review. Replying STOP ends them immediately and permanently.

No location, ever. Taperbook never asks for it.

What none of it does

No advertising identifiers. No tracking across apps or websites. No analytics companies. No data brokers. Nothing is sold or rented, in any product, ever.

A short list of named providers process data only to run what is described above — Resend delivers email, Stripe processes payments, Twilio sends texts, Cloudflare hosts the service. Each handles it under contract, for that purpose, and for nothing else.

Deleting your data

In Forge Field: your account sheet has Delete my account, and it works without asking anyone's permission. Your employer keeps the hours and receipts you filed because those are their payroll and tax records.

In Taperbook: the shop owner can remove a client from the list at any time. To delete an owner account, or an entire shop's data, email us and we will do it and confirm when it is done.

Questions, or want something deleted? [email protected] — or 612-219-7633. A person reads it.
